Our Junior Firefighters completed CPR certification today, Saturday, April 24, 2021. Each Junior is now certified by the American Heart Association in Adult, Child, and Infant, one- and two-responder CPR and Rescue Breathing. Additionally each Junior successfully passed certification in the operation and use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

The certification process involved classroom instruction, practical skills exams, and a comprehensive written exam. A big thank you is in order to Junior Firefighter Lead Advisor Wayne Ratliff and Assistant Chief Dennis Pitts for conducting the course.

These young people have really worked hard for this training. Congratulations!
